Saudi-British relations workshop starts in Riyadh

The first workshop of "Saudi-BritishRelations " started here yesterday.The workshop was organized by the Institute of Diplomatic Studies of the Ministryof Foreign Affairs with the participation of the British Royal Institute ofInternational Affairs Chatham House in the presence of a number of senior officials,researchers, and academics.In his opening speech, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs forBilateral Relations Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Jandan welcomed the Britishdelegation, wishing that the workshop contributes to developing and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries dated back to the beginnings of thelast century.The opening ceremony was attended by Baroness Emma Nicholson, Responsible forTrade in the British House of Lords, who welcomed in her speech the holding of suchworkshops that further enhance bilateral relations in various fields.
