
Princess Astrid of Belgium, Representative of Belgium Queen, and her accompanying delegation visited here today the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh, where she was received by Chairman of the Board of the Chamber, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil. During the visit, which was attended by a number of the chamber's members, the two sides signed two memoranda of understanding (MoU) to promote trade and bolster investment partnership. Chairman of the Chamber expressed satisfaction for the development of trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Belgium over the last ten years, stressing that trade exchange volume rose from SR 6.9 billion in 2003, to about SAR 13.9 billion in 2008, and nearly jumping to SR 20 billion in 2012.
