
The Sahrawi people are determined to continue fighting until they regain independence in spite of the atrocities committed by Morocco against them, the Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Western Sahara President Mohamed Abdelaziz stressed Sunday in Aousserd. "We affirm our determination more than ever and our willing to move forward and continue our fight until the independence of our country in spite of the abuses that Morocco has committed against us," Abdelaziz said at the opening of the 8th Congress of the Saharawi youth. The fight front remains "open" to all sections of society, mainly youth and women, to allow the Sahrawi people to regain its "violated" sovereignty, affirmed Abdelaziz who highlighted the need to pass the torch of struggle to younger generations. Sahrawi president also recalled the harsh conditions of the struggle of his people who is forced into exile by the Moroccan occupation forces. Moreover, Abdelaziz called on the UN to, as soon as possible, a deadline for a referendum on self-determination of the people of Western Sahara.
