S. Korea's cargo handling at seaports rises 7.6 % in Aug.

The amount of cargo processed at South Korea's seaports grew 7.6 percent from a year earlier last month as an increase of transshipment cargo more than offset a drop in the amount of import-export cargo going through the ports, the government said Wednesday. The volume of cargo handled at seaports amounted to 105.51 million tons in August, according to the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs.
