Russia offered to build huge grain silos Southern Jordan, as a regional reserve of Russia's wheat and grain exports to all the Arab Region, an official source at the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture said Tuesday. Meanwhile, the official noted that the ministry has received requests from four private sector firms showing their interest to invest in agricultural lands in Russia, in order to enhance food security and achieve the comprehensive development process in Jordan. Jordan's investment in Russia will be in cultivating grain and fodder, feed crops and raising livestock, the official added, pointing out that the Ministry has been coordinating with the Russian embassy in Amman to make the necessary arrangements to establish a government-sponsored company of the Jordanian and Russian private sectors.
