
The Ras Al-Khaimah Department of Economic Development (DED) and the National Transport Authority (NTA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in order to activate the Federal Law No. 09 for the year 2011, on road transport and its regulations. The MoU was signed by Ibrahim Abdullah Al Wahabi, Director-General of National Transport Authority and Ahmad Obaid Al Tuniji, Acting Director-General of RAK's Department of Economic Development, at the headquarters of the department. Al Tuniji said that the MoU aims to unify efforts and strengthen cooperation between the two authorities. For his part, Al Wahabi said that the MoU between the two authorities makes it easier for clients to obtain their required services as soon as possible. The signing of the Memorandum was attended by a number of executive directors and heads of departments.
