Qatar, Jersey sign double taxation agreement

The government of Qatar signed here Tuesday an agreement with the government of the territory of Jersey on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income. The agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar by Director of Public Revenues and Taxes Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance Muftah Jassim Al Muftah, and on behalf of Jersey by Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Sir Philip Bailhache. The agreement aims at increasing cooperation and supporting exchanges between the State of Qatar and Jersey, especially in the financial sector.
