
President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Wednesday receivedYemeni businessmen, discussing economic and investment situations across Yemen.He praised roles played by businessmen during Yemen’s political crisis that sweptYemen in 2011, pointing out that Yemeni businessmen were keen for nationalinterests and making peaceful changes.They also reviewed achievements and successes, indicating that the federalgovernment system would be a progressive step towards sharing of responsibility,power and resources, and maintenance of security and stability.He said that the federation will make it easier to invest and set up projects withoutbureaucratic impediments and red tape, asserting that Yemen will have a promisingfuture. “Yemen has unexplored oil and various mineral resources” he added.He emphasized that all regional and world states stand by Yemen and support it totranslate outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference’ outcomes into reality.Meanwhile, the president urged security services to do best in order to maintainsecurity and stability, and secure roads to easily transport commodities andpetroleum products.Businessmen highly appreciated Hadi’s invitation to discuss finance and investmentissues, commending, in the meantime, the successful conclusion of NDC.They also denounced frequent attacks carried out against oil, gas and electricityfacilities, demanding to prepare a clear-cut economic and investment visions andsubstantive mechanisms for partnership between private and government sectors.
