Phase 2 of Wadyan roads revamp completed in Bahrain

Roads Projects & Maintenance Director at the Ministry of Works Eng. Raed Al Salah revealed that the Ministry has completed the revamp of Wadyan roads, Block 608, phase 2; extending from Avenue 1 in the North to Avenue 10 in the South at a length of 7,770 meters.‘The project comprises of re-constructing and revamping roads and avenues in the area, removing old road layers and implementing leveling works, protecting existing services, and laying ground channels for present and future use,’ said Al Salah. ‘Works also include implementing a rain water drainage network, lighting, constructing pedestrian pavements and parking spaces, signage and other related works.’ he added.The BD960,5700-project was awarded to Al Wardi Transport.
