Number of service-sector firms up 3.6% in 2012 in Seoul

The number of companies doing business in the service sector increased on-year in 2012, with employment in the area also growing over the same period, data showed Thursday. According to the data provided by Statistics Korea, there were a total of 25.78 million companies in the service sector last year, up 3.6 percent or 91,000 from a year earlier.
