Number of Saudi visitors to Dubai up by 40% in H1

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is atop the list of most important tourist markets to Dubai with more visitors to the emirate every year. Recent official statistics show that Dubai hotel facilities played host to 873,152 Saudi guests in 2011 whereas the first half of 2012 saw 539,766 Saudi visitors as compared to 384,305 over the same period in 2011 - a significant rise of 40 per cent.
