MP al-Madhi affirms enhancing economic growth

MP Abbas Al-Madhi, during his participation in the Sixth Asian Parliamentary Assembly Conference (APAC) being held in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, affirmed enormous challenges facing achieving economic, energy and environment cooperation at the Asian level, noting the importance of improving the standard of living of low income groups in the Asian societies. He called to add the theme of the Asian Century (Cooperation in the fields of economy, energy and environment) on the APAC's forthcoming agenda, adding that rates of production cannot be possible unless encountered by matching rates of consumption.
