23,530 private sector firms are observing the work afternoon break decision, which commenced on June 15, according to the survey conducted by the inspector teams of the Ministry of Labour. Mubarak Saeed Al Dhahiri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour commended the adherence of the employers to the midday break to protect the workers from searing heat.
