Ministry of Economy and Finance signs DTAA with Ireland

The Ministry of Economy and Finance signed a Double Tax Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) Thursday with the Irish government for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion related to income taxes between the two countries. In a statement issued today, the ministry said that the agreement, aimed to extend cooperation in all fields related to supporting economic, investment and fiscal exchange between Qatar and Ireland, was signed for the Qatari side by the Director of Public Revenues and Taxes Department at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Muftah Jassim Al-Muftah, and for Ireland by HE Irish Ambassador to Qatar Ciaran Madden.
