
The fourth version of Middle East Oil Conference started Monday in the Omani capital Muscat with the participation of a number of marketing companies to exchange views and experiences at a time the oil price drop.
Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Oufi, Omani undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, said that the conference is an opportunity to share views among market analysts and oil marketers, stressing that such conferences encourage investments and market oil products.
Discussions in conference covered a number of key issues including the changes due to oil price drop, the status of the oil sector in 2016 and 2017 and oil price forecasts in 2017 and 2018.
