Local industry can assemble Japan products

Industry Minister Vrej Sabounjian said Lebanon’s industries were capable of assembling Japanese industrial products and re-exporting them to international markets. Meeting Japan’s ambassador to Lebanon Seiichi Ostuka, Sabounjian discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and mulled means for developing trade. Sabounjian said successful partnerships between Lebanese and Japanese companies in the field of assembling Japanese power generators could be extended to other fields. The discussion also tackled exporting Lebanese products to Japan. From DailyStar
