Leoni: 800 employees to be laid off by June 2013

"800 employees working in Leoni-North Mateur Company will be laid off by June 2013, after the expiration of their contacts, Mr. Tarek Chabir, Head of Communication Department at Leoni told TAP. "This decision was taken under a rescue plan aimed at improving the efficiency and output of the company specialised in automotive cables and so that it would not be forced to sacrifice new jobs," he said.
