Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ali Al-Ghanim affirmed on Sunday keenness to strengthen joint relations with Turkey, especially since the two countries' ties require exerting extra efforts for development of bilateral economic relations in order to attain their goals. Kuwaiti private sector is ready to cooperate with Turkish Embassy and work on improving economic ties between the two countries to new levels, Al-Ghanim said while receiving Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait Murat Tamer at KCCI's headquarters. For his part, Ambassador Tamer indicated that this meeting aims at discussing nature of Kuwaiti-Turkish economic cooperation and ways to boost relations between the two countries, affirming at the same time his country' aspiration to open new investment and trade prospects with Kuwait. In addition, he added that a high-level Turkish economic delegation, including 80 companies in fields of transportation, infrastructure, agriculture, and textile, is to visit Kuwait next April.
