
Kuwait''''s Finance Minister Anas Al-Saleh and Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) Mohammad Al-Hashel arrived in Tunis on Monday to participate in meetings of the Arab Funds and Arab Finance Ministers, due tomorrow. Director General of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulwahhab Al-Bader, and Board Chairman and Director General of Kuwait-based Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) Abdullateef Al-Hamad will also participate in the two-day meeting, due in Gammarth, north of Tunis. Tunisian Ministry of Economy and Finance had said in a press statement the meetings, to be opened by Prime Minister Mahdi Jumaa, would touch upon activities and strategies of the Arab funds. It underlined importance of the meetings, which would feature participation of around 300 officials, would be a chance for the Arab finance ministers to push forward economic cooperation among Arab countries, as well as approving financing and investment operations.
