Jordanian PM meets Iraqi finance minister

Jordan Prime Minister Fayez Tarawneh met here today with Iraqi Finance Minister Rafe' Al-Issawi, who is currently visiting Jordan. The meeting discussed means of forging closer economic and trade ties between Jordan and Iraq, Petra news agency reported. They also discussed the establishment of an oil pipeline between the two countries, cooperation in the agricultural and transit trade fields and giving Iraq a preferential status via Aqaba Port.
