Jordan, Spain sign 12 million euro soft loan agreement

Jordan and Spain here on Thursday signed a soft loan agreement to support Jordan''s water sector. The agreement was signed by Jordan''s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan and Spanish Ambassador to Jordan Javier Sangro de Liniers. Under the agreement, Spain will provide 12 million euro to support water management project in the north of Jordan. During the signing ceremony, the Jordan''s minister hailed support of Spain to Jordan''s developmental efforts, especially in water, technology, education and tourism fields.
