Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati on Friday asked the Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani to speedily and strongly look into recent major banking corruption, advising to avoid defaming innocent individuals in the case. Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon in this week’s Friday prayers congregation at Tehran University, Ayatollaj Jannati recommended the judiciary officials, “Speedy action and authority are needed this time because people can no longer wait for the issue getting solved.” He said, “People want to know what has happened in connection with the major financial corruption and which measures have been adopted in that connection. All the three branches of government should cooperate to that effect.”
