Italian loan to Iraq to help develop agriculture

Italy will open a line of credit to Iraq for 100 million euros to help develop agriculture. The Italian foreign ministry said Italian companies will take part in the agricultural development plan. Italy''s exports to Iraq value 500 million euros annually and the loan will help raise it by 20 percent in 2012. The agricultural sector employs 25 percent of the manpower in Iraq and is a priority on the social and economic levels.
