Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Vajihollah Jafari made the remarks, saying that Iran's non-oil exports has exceeded $45 billion in the past Iranian year (started March 21, 2011). "The exports of mine and industrial products in the past [Iranian] year exceeded USD 12.5 billion, which represents a 42-percent growth compared to the year before," Jafari note on Tuesday. Late in December, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad lauded the country's growing non-oil exports, and said Iran's non-oil exports will equal its imports in the next Iranian year.
