India and Russia expected to boost economic cooperation between the private sectors of the two countries during the visit by Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Moscow on Thursday, reported local daily Thursday. Meanwhile, the differences over India's nuclear liability law and the failure to arrive at the terms of credit ensured the commercial contract for two more nuclear reactors at Kudankulam, Tamil Nadu in southern India, remain a work in progress, said the Hindustan Times. At the annual India-Russian summit, Singh would have a restricted meeting followed by delegation level talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Dec. 16. He will also meet with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. The Russian President and Prime Minister will have a joint interaction with Indian and Russian chief executive officers to boost the bilateral trade, said the report.
