IMF forecasts slower price growth in South Korea this year

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday revised down its consumer price growth outlook for South Korea this year amid worries that the country might be faced with increasing risks of deflation. In a report, the IMF forecast that South Korea's consumer prices will grow 1.8 percent this year, sharply down from a 2.6 percent gain predicted in October.
