International Monetary Fund chief Christine Lagarde will attend a meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, an official said. The IMF managing director will then travel to Luxembourg, where she is slated to take part in a gathering of eurozone finance ministers on Monday and Tuesday, IMF spokesman Gerry Rice added. From Luxembourg she will head to Tokyo where the IMF and the World Bank Group is to hold annual meetings October 9 to 14. In Riyadh, Lagarde is scheduled to take part in a meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Rice said. Arab news
