IMF approves $2 billion loan for Jordan

The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has approved a $2 billion loan to help Jordan overcome financial challenges. In press statements reported by Jordan News Agency (Petra), Director of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department Masood Ahmed announced that the three- year loan, approved under a Stand-By Arrangement, aims to help Jordan ensure sustainable economic growth and face financial problems.
