Morocco is the most important market for Iberia in Africa, Chairman of the Spanish flag carrier Iberia and International Airlines group (IAG), Antonio Vazquez, said on Friday. Speaking at a reception organized on the occasion of the launch of the first air route between Rabat and Madrid, Vazquez said that Morocco is a priority market for Iberia, voicing hope to see this leadership be further consolidated in the coming years. "We are convinced that this new route will promote investment and attract tourists," he added. Actually, Iberia proposes 20 weekly flights between Spain and Moroccan airports. In 2010, over 220,000 passengers travelled between Spain and Morocco on board Iberia.
