Human appeal international UAE funds training session for widows

Human Appeal International UAE (HAI) has organised a training session for widows who look after 20, 000 orphans sponsored by the HAI. Ibrahim Rashid, Director of HAI in Western Region, said the session financed by HAI, aims at transforming the relief work to forms of development through small enterprises and occupational training so as to empower the widows and encourage the family production. The participants thanked HAI, which supervises over many activities in the Palestinian territories. HAI sponsors 20, 000 Palestinian orphans and pays them monthly bursaries at cost $10 million annually. The UAE Red Crescent Authority also sponsors thousands of Palestinian orphans.
