
French President Francois Hollande and the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani along with a host of French business leaders, political elite and international diplomats attended the funeral in Paris on Monday of Christophe de Margerie, the boss of the Total oil company, who was killed in a plane crash in Russia last Monday, according to Fox News.
Christophe de Margerie was killed when the private plane in which he was traveling, struck a snowplough on take off at Moscow airport. Three crew members also died in the crash.
Total, one of the world's largest hydrocarbon producers, is among France's most valuable companies in terms of market capitalization and a major player of French international business
