GM tells Fiat that Opel is not for sale

General Motors on Friday said that Opel was not for sale following media reports that Fiat wanted to buy the marque. "Opel is not for sale. GM supports it fully," said General Motors Vice Chairman Steve Girsky. "It is a fully integrated part of the GM group and it is vital for the group's future success in Europe".
