France extends help to Pakistan’s projects

France has offered Pakistan help in infrastructure development projects in  water, irrigation and power projects. French Ambassador to Pakistan Philippe Thiebaud said his country was keen to support Pakistan in projects of water development, irrigation and electricity generation. He was attending a briefing about various projects being implemented by Wapda in water and hydropower sectors. He was accompanied by French Development Agency (AFD) Country Director Nicolas Fomage and Project Manager Nauman Bhutta. Thiebaud said the process to provide funds for the Munda Dam project was being sped up and would soon be completed.
