China is promising 7 to 8 percent economic growth in the next five years, former vice premier Zeng Peiyan said at the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on Wednesday. A financial crisis in Asia and emerging economies is unlikely, said Zeng, vice chairman of the BFA board of directors.
