Minister of Economy and Finance HE Hussein Kamal inaugurated here on Monday the 5th Annual MENA Investment Management Forum, organized by Qatar Financial Center Authority (QFCA) . The conference is due to conclude tomorrow, Wednesday. A large group of executives from investment companies across the globe will participate in the conference to formulate a view on how to increase the Middle East''s wealth. A number of specialists will also participate to determine the best methods of distributing investments at a time where the global economy is witnessing a lot of disturbances. The conference also represents the perfect opportunity for Qatari investment companies to interact with similar companies from across the region. The conference will also hold a number of panels including one to discuss the economic expectations for emerging markets, and another on oil. Other topics will include the impact of the global economic crisis on businesses and the market in general, as well as discussing the difference between traditional banks and Islamic ones. A unique feature of this year''s edition of the conference is that businessmen will be able to focus on distributing investments and mutual funds.
