Embraer announces 100 orders for new E2 plane

Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer launched its new family of E2 regional jets on Monday by announcing 100 firm orders and 215 intentions to buy the aircraft. On the opening day of the Paris Air Show, Embraer said that US regional airline SkyWest and US leasing company ILFC were among the first customers for the new aircraft.
