
Egypt’s exports to the UK have increased by 33 percent in the January – September 2014 period compared with the same period last year.
According to the official statistics, the Egyptian exports to the UK reached GBP 740 million in 2014 against GBP 661 million last year.
On the other hand, Egypt’s imports from the UK totaled GBP 773 million for the same nine-month period in 2014 against GBP 661 million.
Britain's exports to the countries of the Middle East and North Africa region have declined by 22 percent during the first nine months of this year.
The British exports to the region totaled GBP 13. 403 billion in the first nine months of the year, compared with GBP 15.187 pillion in same period last year.
