A memorandum of understanding was signed Thursday between the Egyptian and Malian transportation ministries.
The memo targets cooperation between the two states in the fields of infrastructure, roads, transportation, airports and training.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
An Egyptian team will head for Mali within a month to prepare a field study on the road networks and airports in Mali, Transportation Minister Hany Dahy said.
He added that an agreement was reached to open a number of construction companies in Mali during the coming period with the aim to establish infrastructure projects there before 2016, when a France–Africa conference will be held.
