
Constantine- The economic issues, including the reform of the legal framework governing the act of investing was the main theme chosen by the candidate to the presidential election of 17 April, the leader of Ahd 54 party, Ali Fewzi Regained on Friday, the sixth day of campaign.In an electoral rally staged in Constantine (431-km east of Algiers), Rebaine underlined that the revision of the legislative framework must include the banking system as well as the National Audit Office, which need rehabilitation in order to control "the different credits granted by banks to individuals and companies as well as the different contracts signed by Algeria."He said that his proposals aim at achieving "genuine development" especially as the national productive investment is still below expectations because of the various administrative hindrances, particularly at banks.Rebaine promised, if elected on 17 April, to reorganize the banking system, and committed to helping farmers to have access to banking credits and agricultural lands.
