
Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry''''s half-board elections held on Wednesday were won by the 12-candidate ''''Economic Family List'''', who regained their place for a second consecutive term. The newly voted in 12 members will join the total board of 24 members, half of whom are elected every two years. The board as a whole has a four-year duration. The results came in the following order (from first to last) Dhirar Al-Ghanim, Sayer Al-Sayer, Fahad Al-Jouaan, Hussain Al-Kharafi, Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, Khaled Al-Saqer, Khaled Al-Khaled, Abdullah Al-Mulla, Walid Al-Dabbous, Wafaa Al-Qatami, Khaled Al-Madhahka and Mohammad Kakouli. According to KCCI, some 4,715 votes were recorded out of a total 5,842 eligible voters, representing a turnout of 80.7pct
