EC reviews plan for increasing beneficiaries of fodder subsidy program

The Executive Committee of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council viewed, during its meeting yesterday, the executive plan to increase the categories covered by the decision of fodder subsidy for citizens and ensure their supply in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the committee reviewed the mechanism of fodder distribution in the emirate in consistence with the vision of the government to support livestock breeders in order to enable the vital economic sector contribute to food security. The total number of beneficiaries of the fodder subsidy program stand at 12,650. The Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority provides 18 varieties of fodder.
