
The U.S. dollar traded at the mid- 103 yen level early Friday in Tokyo, after climbing into the 103- yen threshold overnight in New York. At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 103.52-54 yen compared with 103.32-42 yen in New York and 102.81-82 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday. The euro fetched 1.3749-3751 dollars and 142.35-36 yen against 1.3748-3758 dollars and 142.11-21 yen in New York and 1.3800-3801 dollars and 141.88-92 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
