Dollar trades around 77 yen line on strong U.S. economic data

The U.S. dollar traded around the 77 yen line Monday morning in Tokyo on strong U.S. economic data. At noon, the U.S. dollar traded at 76.98-77.02 yen against 76. 98-77.08 yen in New York and 76.69-71 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday. The euro fetched 1.3332-3335 U.S. dollar and 102.64-67 yen versus 1.3383-3393 U.S. dollar and 103.07-17 yen in New York and 1. 3526-3528 U.S. dollar and 103.73-77 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon.
