
Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Abdulla Fakhro has lauded the solid historical Bahraini-Indian relations, especially in the economic field, noting that the leaderships and governments of the two friendly countries are exerting tremendous efforts to bolster bilateral ties further.He said that continuous joint meetings and visits had contributed to raising the volume of bilateral trade exchange, consolidating economic partnership between the two friendly countries and upgrading joint investments. This came as the Industry and Commerce Ministry hosted today a meeting, attended by the Transportation Minister and Acting CEO of the Economic Development Board (EDB) Kamal Ahmed Mohammed, Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr. Essam Abdulla Fakhro, Bahraini and Indian businessmen and investors and senior officials of companies.He said the Government of Bahrain and the Industry and Commerce Ministry valued highly and supported all the initiatives taken by the private sector in the kingdom to enhance joint investments with Bahrain and friendly and brotherly countries, praising the steadily-growing deep-rooted Bahraini-Indian trade and investment relations.He stressed Bahrain's keen desire to strengthen its ties, especially the economic ones, with all countries in the world, including friendly India.He added that the policies adopted by the wise leadership and the government and their enlightened economic visions had entitled Bahrain to be at the top of countries which attracted mega world investments and projects.
