The Custom Affairs in cooperation with bodies related presented a number of facilities and flexible procedures for the entry of company products participating in the Jewellery Arabia 2012 exhibition held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa from October 16 to 20. The step was taken to contribute to the success of the exhibition that is being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Customs directorate responsible for airport entry points undertook the clearance of all products arriving and transferring them directly to the exhibition. According to the customs a total of 153 packages for 2012 compared to 131 in 2011 with an increase of 22 packages. With regards to passenger arrivals check points a total of 461 packages were facilitate in 2012 versus 400 in 2011.
