China's inflation hits 8-month high of 3.2% in October

China's annual inflation accelerated to an eight-month high in October, driven by higher food prices, government data showed Saturday, leaving even less room for policy maneuvering by its central bank amid the slowing economy. The consumer price index, a main gauge of inflation, rose to 3.2 percent on-year in October, slightly up from the 3.1 percent in September, the National Bureau of Statistics of China said.
