
China's auto sales rose 19.66 percent year on year with 1.94 million units sold in September, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) announced Friday. The volume is a 17.4 percent monthly increase. Auto output hit nearly 1.93 million units in September, with year-on-year growth of 15.96 percent and 14.87 percent growth month on month. In the first nine months of 2013, auto sales totaled just less than 16 million units, an increase of 12.7 percent from the same period last year. Auto output in the January-September period rose 12.8 percent from a year ago to 15.9 million units.
