Biz community forecasts little impact from US tapering

The stimulus tapering by the U.S. Federal Reserve will have little impact on South Korean industry as a whole, the country's business community said Thursday. Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen announced after the two-day-long Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting Wednesday (local time) that the world's largest economy will scale back its quantitative easing (QE) scheme by US$10 billion in April.
