Abu Dhabi - MENA

Egypt's Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawy said Egypt has a strategic economic vision regarding activities and implementation of projects in the long run. During a meeting here with Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour Ben Zayed al-Nuhayyan, the premier expressed the thanks of the Egyptian leadership and people to the UAE for its support for Egypt at this critical stage in the wake of the June 30 revolution. Sheikh Mansour stressed his country's support for Egypt, saying Arab support is necessary but it can never remain forever and Egypt has to work on its own with the help of its people and to reach progress particularly in the economic field. Beblawy called for the UAE's participation in the private investment funds in Egypt. If the UAE participates by 1% it would provide 10 billion EGP, he added. Beblawy explained that Egypt is moving ahead with legislative reform particularly investment laws.
