Bassil: Proceeding with projects despite hindrances

Caretaker Water and Energy Minister Gibran Bassil on Friday said that the Ministry's works to build dams in Lebanon were ongoing as programmed. During his tour in Bekaata dam, Bassil said that national resources were of our responsibilities and we ought to make the Lebanese benefit of them. "Despite the battles we are fighting against those who are trying to hinder our works, we will proceed with our projects to benefit of Lebanon's resources," he affirmed, referring to the oil and gas resources in the Lebanese waters. Bassil said the campaign against the Ministry is against the Lebanese people and all of Lebanon's resources.
